Gallery 1988

Some of you may remember a little while ago, I wrote blog about the sorry state of movie posters in today's cinema. If you don't remember, then you can read it HERE. In this article, I proclaimed my love for new and inventive poster design. So it should be no surprise that I often scour the internet for movie poster images and neat artwork. A while ago, I ran across several fantastic pieces that had been featured in a Los Angles art gallery called Gallery 1988. In my research, I discovered that this gallery is known for hosting pop culture themed art shows. As I picked my jaw up off the floor, it dawned on me that I don't live in Los Angles and can't attend these events personally (bummer) however I can view them online.

For those of you living in Los Angles, if you're not too busy sipping mimosas and talking about your personal trainers, please go to this gallery in my place and take in the wonderfully pop-themed work these artist have put forth.

I, however, will be here in front of a computer drinking cold coffee, possibly in my underwear. I hope you're happy, you West-coast-phoneys! Sorry about that...but seriously this art is supercool! Click HERE for a link to their Hitchcock show.

I will likely post more movie poster-like stuff in the future. I hope you guys dig it as much as I do.

Some of you have asked, the wedding planning is a nightmare but I remain optimistic. Thank you for your fond wishes.
